Elements Child Care and Early Learning Centre consists of a brand new, purpose-built building along with a repurposed established building.
There are seven rooms for our children – each with direct access to the outside, an integral component of our indoor-outdoor program. The outdoor spaces have been thoughtfully designed by our landscape architect Cheryl of bare earth design with an emphasis on sensory experiences and intriguing play spaces that invite exploration.
The resources inside the rooms have an emphasis on the natural, with timber used wherever possible and practicable. There is also significant use of recycled and repurposed materials – a cornerstone of our environmental policy.
Our rooms – the Nest, the Aviary, the Barn, the Den, the Burrow, the Lilypond, and the Hive, all provide intimate play and learning spaces for children, with room capacities ranging from 12 to 22. Children will be placed in to a room that is both age and developmentally appropriate for them.
